Inclusion and Our Curriculum
We value the individuality of every child and adult and are committed to meeting the needs of all learners. Our curriculum is carefully planned to be inclusive, accessible and balanced, allowing pupils to explore a range of ideas and perspectives in an age-appropriate and respectful way.
Where sensitive or challenging topics are taught, these are delivered thoughtfully to promote inclusion and prevent discrimination. We also respect the right of parents to withdraw their child from specific lessons where these conflict with personal beliefs.
Challenging Discrimination
We do not tolerate discrimination or prejudice-related behaviour in any form. Any incidents are taken seriously, reported appropriately and dealt with promptly to ensure outcomes are fair, supportive and restorative.
