Whole School Beach Trip – Friday 17th July

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to inform you that all pupils are invited to take part in a whole-school trip to the beach on Friday 17th July.

This exciting end-of-year visit is £10, payable through School Spider. The trip will provide children with an opportunity to enjoy the seaside, spend time with their friends, and celebrate a successful year together.

Arrangements for the Day

  • Children should arrive at school at the normal time.
  • We will travel to and from the beach by coach.
  • We expect to return to school before the end of the school day and children should be collected at the usual time.
  • Children should bring a packed lunch and drinks in a clearly named bag.
  • Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, including a sun hat and sensible footwear.
  • Please apply sunscreen before your child comes to school. Children may also bring a named bottle of sunscreen to reapply during the day if required.
  • All children should bring a named water bottle.

For safety reasons, children will not be entering the water during the visit. They will, however, have the opportunity to enjoy the beach, take part in activities and spend time with their classmates.

As part of the day, each child will be provided with an ice cream

The safety and wellbeing of all pupils will be our priority throughout the trip. Staff will supervise the children at all times and appropriate risk assessments have been completed.

We are looking forward to a fun and memorable day for everyone. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
